We have 7 styles of Apolla Socks and there is a reason for every one of them. It really depends on your profile preference because they can't help if you don't wear them regularly. The Performance/Crew profile is what we recommend first to try...especially if you experience ankle swelling or pain. Then decide from there if you don't like the ankle or they are too hard to put on.
You can go down to the lower profile AMP/No-Show style for less ankle support but the same arch support OR if you wish MORE of your leg was covered, you also deal with shin splints or calf aches, travel or a lot of swelling, or to us as recovery after exercising...go with the Infinite/Mid calf or the Endurance/Knee High.
From there, come back & expand to try our Alpha/half sole if you like to do yoga or Pilates, our barefoot option (the Joule) gives support in sandals & being barefoot, & our leg warmers (the K-Warmer) are AMAZING for aching legs & knees.
