Where is Keyword Finder and What Does it Do?ย 

Keyword Finder is a collection of tools that help you find new keywords for your app. The Keyword Finder is found under Analyze --> Keywords --> Finder.

It's made up of 4 distinct keywords finding features:

  1. Autocomplete

  2. Trends

  3. Tracking Suggestions

  4. Library

Autocomplete

The Keyword Autocomplete feature pulls keywords directly from what Apple and Google auto-complete in their app store search.

You can find Keyword Finder Autocomplete in Analyze --> Keywords --> Finder --> Autocomplete

First, choose a country and the app store you'd like to get auto-suggestions from.

Then simply type in a couple of letters or a word and hit "Get Suggestions"

Your results will show the following information:

  • Keyword: Suggestions directly from Google or Apple based on the keyword you typed in

  • Metadata: How often that keyword occurs in your app store listing

  • Search Volume: The higher the search volume is, the more people are searching for that keyword in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  • Difficulty: How challenging it is to rank in the app stores for that keyword

  • Apps: The number of apps ranking for that keyword

  • Owner: The app that most often ranks #1 for that keyword

  • Live Search: See the real-time app store search results for that keyword

  • Track Keyword: Add keyword to your Keyword Tracking list

To add multiple keywords to your Keyword Tracking list, check the boxes to the left of the keyword and click "Track # Keywords".

To track all keywords, click "Track all Keywords".

You are also able to filter keywords. You can either type and look for a specific keyword, or hide low search volume keywords from the results by clicking on the toggle in the Filter section.

Trends

Keyword Trends enables you to see the keywords that are trending in the app stores for a chosen country.

To search for trending keywords, simply select a country, and view the results.

Your results will show the trending keywords the following information:

  • Keyword: The keyword that is trending

  • Metadata: How often that keyword occurs in your app store listing

  • Search Volume: The higher the search volume is, the more people are searching for that keyword in the Apple App Store or Google Play

  • Difficulty: How challenging it is to rank in the app stores for that keyword

  • Apps: The number of apps ranking for that keyword

  • Owner: The app that most often ranks #1 for that keyword

  • Live Search: See the real-time app store search results for that keyword

  • Track Keyword: Add keyword to your Keyword Tracking list

By clicking on the "Filters" button, you can hide low search volume keywords.

You can also select and track multiple keywords. Tick the box "Keyword" then click on the "Track all keywords" button.

You can rearrange the order of the results, by clicking on the field name until you see an arrow.

Tracking Suggestions

Our AI recommends new keywords that are relevant to your app's brand, category, and functionalities

The Keyword Tracking Suggestions feature is useful for finding new keywords or getting keyword inspiration. Our in-house AI will recommend keywords that are relevant to your app or mobile game.

First, select the country you'd like to get your AI-recommended keywords for, and then view your results.

Train the AI

To train our AI to give you better recommendations, be sure to reject keywords that you believe are irrelevant to your app .

Also, track keywords (add them to Keyword Tracking list) in order to train our AI to give you more relevant keywords.

You'll get the following information about each keyword:

  • Keyword: The keyword our AI is suggesting you track

  • Rank: Your app's current the Apple App Store or Google Play Store rank for that keyword

  • Metadata: How often that keyword occurs in your app store listing

  • Search Volume: The higher the search volume is, the more people are searching for that keyword in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  • Difficulty: How challenging it is to rank in the app stores for that keyword

  • Apps: The number of apps ranking for that keyword

  • Owner: The app that most often ranks #1 for that keyword

  • Live Search: See the real-time app store search results for that keyword

  • Reject: Reject irrelevant keywords. You'll train our AI to give you better suggestions

  • Track Keyword: Add relevant keywords to your Keyword Tracking list. You'll train our AI to give you better suggestions

You can filter keywords by typing a word in the search box or by including low search volume keywords.

You are also able to change the order of the keywords based on what you want to focus on more. Click on the column field name until you see the arrow up to have an ascending or other, or until you see the arrow down to have a descending order.

Keyword Library

Gain access to our library of more than 10 million keywords

Our in-house database contains more than 10 million keywords along with their amount of ranked apps and keyword popularity.

This feature answers important open-ended questions such as:

  • What keywords in the United States have a popularity of 50?

  • What keywords in the United Kingdom have less than 100 apps ranking for them?

Users with an App Radar Pro subscription (Expert plan) will have full access to search through our comprehensive database.

How Does Keyword Library Work?

When you'll use this feature, you'll be searching through our entire keyword database.

First, select the country you'd like to search for keywords in. Use the drop-down menu.

Then set values for each filter, depending on what kind of keywords you are searching for. You can filter for:

  • Search volume values

  • Number of Ranking apps

After you've decided on these values, click "Get Results".

You'll be shown a table of keywords in that country that fit your filters. Your results will also show the following information:

  • Keyword: The keyword that matches your search

  • Metadata: How often that keyword occurs in the app store listing

  • Search Volume: The higher the search volume is, the more people are searching for that keyword in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  • Difficulty: How challenging it is to rank in the app stores for that keyword

  • Apps: The number of apps ranking for that keyword

  • Owner: The app that most often ranks #1 for that keyword

  • Live Search: See the real-time app store search results for that keyword

  • Track Keyword: Add keyword to your Keyword Tracking list

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the arrows to see more keywords.

To track multiple keywords, select the keywords you'd like to track and click "track keywords"

Keyword Tagging Functionality

You can also tag keyword features with multiselector for easier keyword research.
