This feature must be turned on by Applause so that it looks for all users assigned to the completed job from your CRM.
This feature is not support by all CRM integrations. Please reach out to us if you are unsure if your integration will work with this solution.
What:
Recognize and reward your employees' good behavior effortlessly with the Applause algorithm. With this turned on, funds such as tips, nps bonuses and review bonuses and matching will be distributed to all team members associated with a job.
With the supported CRM integrations, we can now see jobs where more than one user is on a job and split these incentives earned on team jobs to more than one user.
You can choose to have Applause automate this feature it choose to distribute them manually.
With this added to your Applause account, the question you need to answer is:
Do you want Applause to auto split all tips evenly for all service workers assigned to a job or are there some workers who may need the distribution of the tip for because they should earn more or less of the tip?
(Use cases why you may want to distribute manually: a service worker who should earn more of the tip because they spend more time on the job or are a trainer)
If the answer to the above is "Yes", make sure "Automate" is toggled on in your Bonuses page > settings. By enabling this setting, funds such as tips, tip matching, nps bonuses and review bonuses will be equally distributed to all team members associated with a job automatically.
If the answer to the above is "No", make sure "Automate" is toggled on in your Bonuses page > settings. Any tips, matching, nps bonuses and review bonuses will be MANUALLY distributed to all team members associated with a job.
Where to find Team Payouts:
1.) Return to your Bonuses page and you will see the "Team Payouts" box. Depending on your "Automate" setting being on or off above determines if any tips go to your Team payout box. If OFF, then tips will go here for an admin to manage.
2.) Once you click "Review" you will see this view open up
3.) Now that you're in here you have a few different options as far as distributing the tips.
Equal distribution
If someone was not assigned to the job via the CRM and needed to receive some of the tip. Click "+Add receipient" and you can add any of your company users and the tip will be divided automatically based on the tip amount and number of employees.
Click the "x" button if someone that was part of the job shouldn't receive the tip
Customize distribution
If someone was not assigned to the job via the CRM and needed to receive some of the tip. Click "+Add receipient" and you can add any of your company users and the tip will be divided with custom inputs for dollar amounts.
With either distribution, once the appropriate amounts are split, click the Send button to send those to the corresponding Applause accounts.
Where to track and see amounts given?
In reports you can see these details in either the All Sent Requests or Full Ratings & Tips report. In either report, locate the sent request and click the arrow to the left of the customer's name of the request that a tip was left on.
The in the "Details" side bar you will see the fields of "Team Members", "Distributed By", "Distributed Type", "Tip Distributed At", that give you the details around the distribution of the rating, or incentive left through this specific sent request.
What changes now with Team Payouts set-up on your account?
-Tips distributed via team payouts will now accurately be tracked from team jobs so that payroll amounts are accurate for your users!
