What is the Metric Library?
The new Metric Library gives admins full control to browse, add, and remove metrics from scorecards. Instead of showing every metric by default, you can now curate and only show the KPIs that matter most to your business and teams.
All metrics live in one central library and automatically integrate across the Applause platform —ensuring consistency everywhere your team measures performance.
Note: A metric must be added from the library to appear in your instance of Applause. There will be a default set of metrics available to all users, and admins can add or remove KPIs from the library. Removing a metric hides it going forward, but historical data is always preserved.

Configuring the Metric Library
Adding a Metric
Admins can add metrics directly from Scorecard Settings using the new “Add New Metric” button.
When adding a metric:
Open Scorecard Settings → click Add a Metric.
Browse the available library (only unused metrics will appear).
Configure details in the modal:
Select metric from the dropdown
Toggle mobile visibility, allowing technicians to see the metric in the app
Set expectation (if necessary)
Configure auto bonus amount & minimum events (if necessary)
Click Save New Metric.
Once saved, the metric will be live across Admin Scorecards, Power Scores, Leaderboards, and the Mobile App.
Removing a Metric
You can remove any metric directly in Scorecard Settings:
Click into the metric you want to remove.
Select Remove Metric.
Confirm removal in the modal.
What happens when you remove a metric?
It disappears from active scorecards, leaderboards, and Power Scores.
Historical data remains intact.
You can re-add the metric anytime from the library.
Access & Permissions
The Metric Library is available to all admins for browsing, but only Applause Scorecard users with the proper permissions can add or remove metrics.
