💡In order to sync Indeed status with your Apploi jobs: you'll need to be logged into Apploi with a user profile that has the same email address as your Indeed Employer account💡
The Indeed Job Visibility feature provides additional insight into how your jobs are appearing and syncing on Indeed directly within Apploi.
With this feature, recruiters can:
View the current Indeed job status
See additional sync visibility information
Manually resync a job to Indeed when needed
Please note that Indeed does not share all job-level data with third-party platforms. Some information may remain unavailable due to Indeed platform limitations.
Viewing Indeed Job Status
You can view the Indeed status of a job directly from the job details page in Apploi.
Statuses help indicate whether:
A job has been successfully synced
A sync is currently in progress
There may be an issue preventing visibility on Indeed
Status definitions may vary depending on the information provided by Indeed.

The five possible Indeed visibility statuses are:
1. Live on Indeed - the job is live and searchable on Indeed
2. Expired on Indeed - the job has expired and won't appear in search results
3. Sponsor on Indeed - the job needs sponsorship to be visible (like the one we just looked at!)
4. Update needed on Indeed - a field on the posting must be updated before Indeed will index it
5. Status unknown on Indeed - Indeed didn't return a recognizable status. This is not an error status.
If the status is unknown, please have the Super Admin with access to the Indeed Employer account log directly into Indeed for more information.
Manually Syncing a Job to Indeed
If you believe a job needs to be refreshed or resynced on Indeed, you can manually trigger a sync using the Sync button.
To resync a job:
Open the job in Apploi
Locate the Indeed visibility section
Click Sync
Apploi will then request a new sync with Indeed.
Sync Frequency Limit
Indeed only allows jobs to be synced once per hour.
Because of this limitation:
The Sync button may be temporarily disabled after a recent sync
You must wait at least 1 hour before triggering another sync attempt
This restriction is controlled by Indeed and cannot be overridden within Apploi.
Why a Job May Not Appear on Indeed
There are several reasons a job may not immediately appear on Indeed, including:
Recent updates still processing
Sync delays on the Indeed side
Missing or incomplete job information
Indeed quality or content review processes
If a job continues to experience issues after resyncing, contact your support team for assistance.
If your jobs are not showing the "Sync Status" button, please reach out to your CSM or Support.
If you are jobs are showing the "Sync to see job status" message, please have please have the Super Admin with access to the Indeed Employer account log into Apploi and click the "Sync Status" button.
