VIP Program Rewards Explained
You can offer one-time rewards for customers when they achieve a new VIP Program Tier to further encourage engagement with your Appstle Loyalty & Rewards program.
Editing VIP Program Tiers
You can add one-time rewards for your customers when they achieve a VIP Program Tier. If you have not set up your VIP Program, you can find out how to do that here. Please ensure that your VIP Program is Inactive before adding any rewards.
1) To add rewards to a VIP Program Tier, navigate to the VIP Program menu and click Edit next to that specific VIP Program Tier.
2) At the bottom of the menu, you will find two sections for rewards which are Tier Rewards and Tier Points Rewards. To create rewards, click on Create Reward or Create Point Reward.
Tier Rewards
Tier rewards are identical to Redeem Rules except for Birthday Reward and Static Reward.
Redeem Rule Rewards will only be awarded once when the customer achieves a new tier except for the Birthday Reward which is a yearly reward.
Basic Rewards
The following rewards are configured identically to their Redeem Rule counterparts. Rewards from the VIP Program will only be awarded once when the customer reaches a new VIP Program Tier. If you need a refresher on how to configure Redeem Rules you can learn more here.

To create a new Reward, click on Create Reward next to one of the reward rules.
Birthday Reward
The Birthday Reward offers a discount reward for VIP Program customers every year on their birthday if they keep the same VIP Program tier. The Birthday Reward setup is identical to the Discount Redeem Rule. If you need a refresher on the Discount Redeem Rule you can learn more here. To add a Birthday Reward, click on Create Reward next to the Birthday Reward rule.
Static Reward
The Static Reward does not have any automatic reward associated with it and is intended to be a display-only reward for VIP Program Tiers. You can use this to display rewards that are not rewarded from the Appstle Loyalty & Rewards app such as in-person rewards or manually given rewards. To add a Static Reward, click on Create Reward next to the Static Reward rule. You can adjust the following fields to customize the Static Reward rule.
Rule Name - The name of the rule which will not appear on the Appstle Loyalty & Rewards widget.
Label Customizations - A description that will appear on the VIP Program Tier section of the Appstle Loyalty & Rewards widget.
Tier Points Reward
Tier Points Rewards allow you to reward your VIP Program customers with points when they reach a specific tier. You can only create one Tier Points Reward rule. You can adjust the rule using the following fields.
Rule Name - The name of the rule which will not appear on the Appstle Loyalty & Rewards widget.
Customer Facing Label - The description the customer will see in the Appstle Loyalty & Rewards widget.
Points - The number of points the customer will receive when achieving the VIP Program Tier.
Customer Facing Icon - This field accepts an image link for the icon of your Tier Points Reward. If you need to learn how to retrieve your image URLs, you can learn more here.
Auto Approval Days - The number of days before the customer receives their points. If this is set to zero then it will automatically award points to the customer.
Notification Banner Message - The banner message that appears when the customer achieves the VIP Program Tier.
Activating the VIP Program
After adding your VIP Program Tier Rewards, you can now Activate your VIP Program. From the VIP Program page, select Activate to enable the VIP Program. Your newly added VIP Program Rewards will now appear in their respective tiers.
