Providing percentage discounts to your members is one of the most popular features of offering memberships! For this, Appstle Memberships offers an automated way to provide percentage discounts to shoppers who are a part of your membership program.
The process of setting up automated percentage discounts is quite simple.
Preliminary Step:
Before jumping into the step-by-step process on how we can setup a percentage discount for members, we need to make sure that we have a discount code that can act as a sample discount code with the conditions/rules you wish to have. This discount code needs to be created only in the Shopify's Discounts section, as shown in the screenshot below.

Once the discount code is created on Shopify, please follow the below Steps to offer % discount.
Step 1: Create a Membership Plan.
To provide your members with percentage discounts, you need to first make sure that you have created a membership plan. You can view the detailed process for creating a membership plan here.
Step 2: Assigning a Percentage Discount
The next step is to assign the percentage discount so it can automatically get applied whenever a 'member' is purchasing something from your store.
Once the membership plan is created,
Navigate to the Plan & Perks section.
Click on the edit icon under the Membership Perks column for a specific membership plan.
Under the Select Perk dropdown. Select the perk for Percentage Discount.
Now, you can either create a percentage discount from Appstle's merchant admin page (that you can edit later in Shopify's backend discount section), or you can create a percentage discount code in Shopify and link it with the membership perk. If you want to create a discount code directly on Appstle, you just need to type in the Discount % that you want to provide as shown in the below video, then click on Create Discount Code.
Click on Save to finish the task and save your perk. With this, you are done!
