Congratulations on successfully migrating to Appstle! With the migration of your subscribers complete, it's time to review the details and make sure that everything was migrated over correctly.

Step 1: Reviewing the Migrated Subscription Data

First you'll need to export all Migrated Subscriptions from Appstle, by navigating to the Subscriptions section and using the following filters:

Record type: Imported
Status: All


You will receive a CSV in your email, and you can then do spot checks for a few customers as below.

Things you Should review:

1. Products in the migrated subscriptions: if customer A had product X in their subscription, they should also have product X after migration Appstle's CSV.
2. Their Shipping information: cross-check if their shipping information is the same as in the previous app.
3. Prices/quantities: if the price and quantity (unit of products) are the same as in the previous app.

You can do the spot-checks on your end and let the Migrations team know you have reviewed the migrated subscriptions and are ready to activate them!

Step 2:Associating Subscription Plans with Migrated Subscriptions

As the migrated subscribers are legacy subscribers and have not been assigned any subscription plans from Appstle during migration, do not worry!

You can create the subscription plans in Appstle and let the migrations specialist team know; they will take care of associating the subscription plans with the migrated subscribers so that the migrated subscribers can also have the same properties (like shipping rates or discounts) as your new subscribers, joining through Appstle and Shopify will have :)

Step 3: Activating the Migrated Subscriptions

As you know, the migrated subscribers are paused, so they won't get double charged (keeping in mind they are still active on your previous platform).

Once you are ready for the activation, you should activate 2/3 of the migrated customers inside Appstle, pause them in the previous app, and let their upcoming charges go through Appstle so that it can be made sure that their migrated payment information is correct and the recurring charges are processing correctly.

If things work right for those 2/3 customers, don't hesitate to contact the Migration Specialists team, and they will activate the rest of the migrated subscribers in Appstle.

Step 4: Enabling Emails for Your Subscribers

We also have disabled email notifications during migration so customers won't be notified about the migration.

After activating the migrated subscriptions, you can enable emails whenever you need: Settings > Email Settings > Email Templates.


Step 5: Creating a Subscription Plan for New Customers

Now, as all your current subscribers are successfully migrated and activated, you can start offering the subscriptions to the new customers through Appstle.
