The Referral rule is an earn rule through which you can give points to your customers if they refer their friends and family to sign up for your store.
Here you can name the rule through the field Rule Name.
Add a description for the rule that will be shown to the customers in your loyalty widget in Customer Facing Label.
For Customer Facing Icon, provide the URL of an icon or image to be displayed in your loyalty widget, or leave it blank to use the rule-based global icon from the widget settings or the default image.
To configure the conditions and rewards for the rule, follow the steps below:
Go to the Referrals section in your dashboard.
Under Referral Rewards, configure the incentives for both the referring customer and the referred friend. Click Edit to set respective rewards for the referrer and the friend.
Under Referral Reward Timing, select when rewards should be given (e.g., when the referred friend accepts the invitation).
In each reward rule (Referring Customer Reward / Referred Friend Reward), complete the following fields:
Rule Name: Enter a name for the discount reward.
Minimum Purchase Amount: Specify the minimum spend required (set 0 if it applies to all purchases).
Discount Configurations: Choose discount type (Fixed or Percentage) and enter the discount amount.
Allow Discounts: Decide whether the discount applies to one-time products, subscriptions, or both.
Maximum Discount Uses: Limit how many times each code can be used, and whether usage is per customer.
Combinations With: Choose whether the discount can be combined with other discounts (Product, Order, Shipping).
Label Customizations:
Customer Facing Label: Enter the text customers will see.
Customer Facing Icon: Provide an icon URL, or leave blank for the default.
Redeem Label: Customize the label customers see when redeeming.
In the Additional Settings tab, configure eligibility rules:
Eligibility for Referred Customers: Restrict or allow specific customers by tag.
Eligibility for Referring Customers: Restrict or allow specific customers by tag.
Update Referral Labels:
Enter the customer-facing text and notifications for referred friend rewards.
Review your settings and click Save.
