Appstle℠ Cart Bot can be configured to automatically add or remove products when a customer adds a pre-determined product to their cart.

There are a set of additional configurations within the app that can help you control the number of times an additional product is added or removed. This list of configurations can be found toward the bottom of the Cart Bot application:

In the example above, the "Apply bot only once per browser session" configuration has been toggled on. For this scenario, we have configured this bot to automatically add a pack of colorful plates when a customer adds the "Cake of the Month" product to their shopping cart.

Note: The Cart Bot will trigger and automatically add any preset product(s) when the customer adds the pre-determined product(s) to the cart and reaches the checkout page:

As the name implies, the configuration "Apply bot only once per browser session" will add the pack of colorful paper plates a single time. If the customer decides to delete the products from the cart or returns to the storefront to add more cakes, no more paper plates will be added. Please note the quantity of plates highlighted below as the Cake of the Month quantity increases to 4:

For this bot to trigger the additional product once again, the customer must close the current browser session and start a new one.
