Overview of Flex Account Rules
To qualify for an AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Funded Account, traders must reach the required Profit Target, satisfy the 50% Challenge Consistency Rule, remain within the applicable Maximum Overall Drawdown and comply with all AquaFunded Futures trading rules.
There are no minimum trading days required during the Challenge.
Due to the 50% Consistency Rule, traders can complete the Flex Daily Loss Challenge in as little as 2 trading days.
A Daily Loss Limit applies during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
The Maximum Overall Drawdown remains fully applicable at all times.
Profit Target
Traders must achieve a 6% Profit Target during the Flex Daily Loss Challenge while respecting all applicable trading rules and risk limits.
Account Size | Profit Target |
$50,000 | $3,000 |
$100,000 | $6,000 |
$150,000 | $9,000 |
Once the Profit Target has been reached and the 50% Consistency Rule has been satisfied, the account will undergo a final review.
After successful verification, the trader will move forward as an AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Funded Trader.
There are no minimum trading days required to complete the Challenge.
Daily Loss Limit
A Daily Loss Limit applies during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Account Size | Daily Loss Limit |
$50,000 | $1,200 |
$100,000 | $1,700 |
$150,000 | $3,000 |
The Daily Loss Limit is treated as a Soft Breach.
If the Daily Loss Limit is reached, trading will be restricted for the remainder of that trading day rather than permanently breaching the account.
Trading may resume during the next eligible trading session, provided the account has not breached its Maximum Overall Drawdown.
The Maximum Overall Drawdown remains fully applicable regardless of the Daily Loss Limit.
Maximum Overall Drawdown (EOD)
The Maximum Trailing Drawdown varies depending on the account size and follows an End-of-Day (EOD) trailing model during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Account Size | Maximum Drawdown |
$50,000 | $2,000 |
$100,000 | $3,000 |
$150,000 | $4,500 |
The trailing drawdown adjusts based on the account’s closed balance at the end of each trading day.
This means intraday unrealized profits do not cause the drawdown threshold to trail upward.
Once the trailing drawdown reaches the account’s original starting balance, the drawdown locks and no longer trails upward.
This locked level becomes the permanent Maximum Overall Drawdown threshold.
Example
For a $50,000 Flex Daily Loss Account with a $2,000 Maximum Drawdown, the initial threshold begins at $48,000.
If the trader finishes a trading day with a closed balance of $51,000, the EOD threshold moves to $49,000.
Once the account has generated enough closed profit for the trailing threshold to reach the original $50,000 starting balance, the threshold locks at $50,000 and will no longer trail upward.
Is There a Monthly Fee or Activation Fee?
No.
AquaFunded Futures does not require an activation fee before receiving your Flex Daily Loss Funded Account.
After successfully completing the Challenge and passing the account review, you can proceed to your Funded Account without paying an activation fee.
News Trading Rule
News trading is allowed during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Traders are free to open, manage and close positions during high-impact news events.
However, traders should remain cautious during periods of significant market volatility, as factors such as slippage, reduced liquidity and rapid price movements may affect trade execution.
Stop Loss Rules
Using a Stop Loss is not mandatory on AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Accounts, but it is strongly encouraged as part of proper risk management.
Traders are expected to maintain a structured and responsible approach to risk and should not rely on the Daily Loss Limit or Maximum Overall Drawdown as a substitute for proper trade management.
We encourage traders to define their risk before entering a position, maintain appropriate and consistent position sizing and follow a structured trading strategy.
Can I Use Copy Trading or Trade Copiers?
Yes.
Copy trading is allowed on AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Accounts, including the use of trade copier software, provided that all accounts involved are legally owned and operated by the same trader.
Traders may copy their own trades between accounts they personally own.
Copying trades from another trader, signal provider, trading group, or allowing another individual or third party to manage or execute trades on your behalf is prohibited.
All AquaFunded Futures accounts must remain under the control of the registered account holder.
Microscalping Rule
Scalping is allowed on AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Accounts. However, microscalping is restricted.
Less than 50% of your total profits may come from trades held for under 10 seconds.
This rule applies during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Traders may execute trades lasting less than 10 seconds, but those trades cannot account for 50% or more of the account’s total profits.
Excessive reliance on ultra-short-duration trades may result in profit removal, payout review or further account action.
Consistency Rule
A 50% Consistency Rule applies during the AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Challenge.
There is no Consistency Rule on the Flex Daily Loss Funded Account.
The trader’s highest-profit trading day cannot account for more than 50% of their total Challenge profits.
Example
If the trader's highest-profit trading day is $2,000, their total Challenge profits must reach at least $4,000 to satisfy the Consistency Rule.
$2,000 ÷ $4,000 = 50%
Reaching the Challenge Profit Target alone does not guarantee that the account will pass. The 50% Consistency Rule must also be satisfied.
If the consistency requirement has not yet been met, the account is not breached.
The trader may continue trading until the profit distribution becomes compliant.
Maximum Position Size
Flex Daily Loss Accounts have the following Maximum Position Sizes:
Account Size | Maximum Position Size |
$50,000 | 4 Mini / 40 Micro Contracts |
$100,000 | 8 Mini / 80 Micro Contracts |
$150,000 | 12 Mini / 120 Micro Contracts |
For position-size calculations:
10 Micro Contracts = 1 Mini Contract
There is no progressive position scaling on Flex Daily Loss Accounts.
Traders receive access to their full permitted position size from the beginning.
How Do Payouts Affect Flex Daily Loss Drawdown?
After any approved payout or withdrawal, the drawdown floor will lock at the account's starting balance + $100.
Account Size | Drawdown Floor After Payout |
$50,000 | $50,100 |
$100,000 | $100,100 |
$150,000 | $150,100 |
This ensures the account remains active and prevents traders from withdrawing down to the exact breach threshold.
Example
After a payout from a $50,000 Flex Daily Loss Funded Account, the account's drawdown floor will be permanently locked at $50,100.
Rewards and Payout Structure
Payout Cap
Flex Daily Loss Accounts follow a fixed payout cap per reward request.
Traders may request up to 50% of their available profits, subject to the Maximum Payout Cap assigned to their account size.
Account Size | Maximum Payout Per Request |
$50,000 | 50% of profits, up to $2,000 |
$100,000 | 50% of profits, up to $2,500 |
$150,000 | 50% of profits, up to $3,000 |
There is no limit on the total number of rewards a trader can receive from a Flex Daily Loss Funded Account while the account remains active and all reward requirements continue to be satisfied.
Example
If a trader on a $50,000 Flex Daily Loss Account has $3,000 in available profit, they may request up to $1,500, representing 50% of their available profits.
If the trader has $4,000 in available profit, they may request up to $2,000.
If the trader has $5,000 in available profit, 50% would equal $2,500. However, because the $50,000 account has a $2,000 payout cap per request, the maximum request remains $2,000.
Minimum Winning Days
To become eligible for a reward on a Flex Daily Loss Funded Account, traders must complete 5 Winning Days.
Each Winning Day must meet the minimum profit requirement for the applicable account size:
Account Size | Minimum Profit for a Winning Day |
$50,000 | $200 |
$100,000 | $250 |
$150,000 | $300 |
Winning Days do not need to be consecutive.
Once an approved reward has been completed, the Winning Day counter resets and the trader must complete 5 Winning Days again before becoming eligible for their next reward.
Flex Daily Loss Reward Eligibility – Net Profit Requirement
From reward #2 onward, Flex Daily Loss Funded Accounts must also satisfy a Net Profit Requirement.
To become eligible, traders must complete the 5 Winning Day requirement and reach the required Net Profit since their previous approved reward.
Account Size | Winning Day Minimum | Net Profit Required | Payout Cap |
$50,000 | $200 | $1,000 | $2,000 |
$100,000 | $250 | $1,250 | $2,500 |
$150,000 | $300 | $1,500 | $3,000 |
How Is Net Profit Calculated?
Net Profit includes all profits and losses generated since the previous approved reward.
Example
On a $50,000 Flex Daily Loss Account, if a trader generates $1,200 in profits but records $200 in losses during the same reward cycle:
$1,200 - $200 = $1,000 Net Profit
The $1,000 Net Profit Requirement has therefore been satisfied.
If the trader instead generates $1,200 in profits and $400 in losses:
$1,200 - $400 = $800 Net Profit
The trader has not yet reached the required $1,000 and must continue trading before becoming eligible for the reward.
Does the Net Profit Requirement Change the Payout Amount?
No.
The Net Profit Requirement determines payout eligibility only.
Once eligible, traders may still request up to 50% of their available profits, subject to their account’s Maximum Payout Cap.
After a Reward
Once a reward is approved, the Winning Day count and applicable Net Profit Requirement reset for the next reward cycle.
Profit Split
AquaFunded Futures Flex Daily Loss Funded Traders receive a 90%
For example, if an eligible reward contains $1,000 in profits:
Trader receives: $900
AquaFutures receives: $100
The 90% Profit Split applies from the first reward onward.
How Many Funded Accounts Can I Trade at Once?
Traders may have up to 5 active Flex Daily Loss Funded Accounts trading at the same time.
If a trader already has 5 active Funded Accounts and qualifies for an additional Funded Account, the additional account will remain paused until a space becomes available within their active Funded account allocation.
Once an active Funded Account is breached, closed or otherwise no longer active, an eligible paused account can then be activated.
Reward Schedule

Reward Frequency: Instant reward after meeting the 5 Winning Days and applicable reward eligibility requirements.
Processing Time: Within 24 business hours.
Withdrawal Methods: Rise or Crypto.
