Overview of Flex Account Rules
The AquaFutures Flex Challenge is designed for traders who want a flexible trading model with an End-of-Day trailing drawdown and clear payout requirements.
Traders can qualify for a Funded Account by completing the one-phase evaluation, reaching the required profit target, satisfying the applicable consistency requirement, and complying with all trading rules and risk parameters.
There are no minimum trading days, meaning traders can complete the evaluation as soon as all requirements have been satisfied.
The Flex model is also available with an optional Consistency Add-On, which increase the Challenge Consistency Rule from 40% to 50%.
Below is a complete overview of the rules, trading conditions, and payout requirements for the AquaFutures Flex Account.
Profit Target
Traders must achieve a 6% profit target during the Challenge while respecting all applicable trading rules and risk limits.
Account Size | Profit Target |
$50,000 | $3,000 |
$100,000 | $6,000 |
$150,000 | $9,000 |
Once the target is reached and the applicable consistency requirement has been satisfied, the account will undergo a final review. After successful verification, the trader will move forward as an AquaFutures Funded Trader.
There are no minimum trading days required to complete the Flex Challenge.
Daily Loss Limit
The Flex Account includes a Daily Loss Limit during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Account Size | Daily Loss Limit |
$50,000 | $1,200 |
$100,000 | $1,700 |
$150,000 | $3,000 |
The Daily Loss Limit acts as a soft breach.
If the Daily Loss Limit is reached, trading will be restricted for the remainder of that trading day rather than permanently breaching the account. Trading may resume during the next eligible trading session, provided the account has not breached its Maximum Overall Drawdown.
The Daily Loss Limit is the same for both the standard Flex Account and the Flex Account with the Consistency Add-On.
Maximum Overall Drawdown (EOD)
The Maximum Trailing Drawdown on Flex Accounts varies depending on the account size and follows an End-of-Day (EOD) trailing model during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Account Size | Maximum Drawdown |
$50,000 | $2,000 |
$100,000 | $3,000 |
$150,000 | $4,500 |
The trailing drawdown only adjusts based on your closed balance at the end of each trading day.
This means intraday unrealized profits do not cause your drawdown threshold to trail upward.
Once your trailing drawdown reaches your starting balance, the drawdown will lock and no longer trail.
This locked level becomes your permanent maximum loss threshold for the account.
Examples
For a $50,000 Flex Account with a $2,000 maximum drawdown, the initial threshold begins at $48,000.
If the trader finishes a trading day with a closed balance of $51,000, the EOD threshold moves to $49,000.
Once the account has generated enough closed profit for the trailing threshold to reach the original $50,000 starting balance, the threshold locks at $50,000 and will no longer trail upward.
Is there a monthly fee or activation fee?
No.
AquaFutures does not require an activation fee before receiving your Flex Funded Account.
After successfully completing the Challenge and passing the account review, you can proceed to your Funded Account without paying an activation fee.
News Trading Rule
News trading is allowed on both Challenge and Funded Flex Accounts.
Traders are free to open, manage, and close positions during high-impact news events.
However, traders should remain cautious during periods of significant market volatility, as factors such as slippage and rapid price movements may affect trade execution.
Stop Loss Rules
Using a Stop Loss is not mandatory on AquaFutures Flex Accounts, but it is strongly encouraged as part of proper risk management.
Traders are expected to maintain a structured and responsible approach to risk rather than relying on the Daily Loss Limit or Maximum Drawdown threshold as a substitute for proper trade management.
We encourage traders to define their risk before entering a position, maintain appropriate and consistent position sizing, and follow a structured trading strategy.
Can I use copy trading or trade copiers?
Yes.
Copy trading is allowed on AquaFutures Flex Accounts, including the use of trade copier software, provided that all accounts involved are legally owned and operated by the same trader.
Traders may copy their own trades between accounts they personally own.
Copying trades from another trader, signal provider, trading group, or allowing another individual or third party to manage or execute trades on your behalf is prohibited.
Microscalping Rule
Scalping is allowed on AquaFutures Flex Accounts; however, microscalping is restricted.
Less than 50% of your total profits may come from trades held for under 10 seconds.
This rule applies during both the Challenge and Funded stages.
Traders may therefore execute trades lasting less than 10 seconds, but those trades cannot account for 50% or more of the account’s total profits.
Excessive reliance on ultra-short-duration trades may result in profit removal, payout review, or further account action.
Consistency Rule
A consistency rule applies only during the Flex Challenge.
There is no consistency rule on the Funded Account.
Standard Flex Account – 40% Consistency
The standard Flex Account has a 40% Consistency Rule.
This means your highest-profit trading day cannot account for more than 40% of your total profits.
For example, if your highest-profit trading day is $2,000, your total profits must reach at least $5,000 to satisfy the 40% consistency requirement.
Reaching the Challenge profit target alone does not guarantee that the account will pass. The consistency requirement must also be satisfied.
If the consistency requirement has not yet been met, the account is not breached. The trader can simply continue trading until the profit distribution becomes compliant.
Flex Consistency Add-On – 50% Consistency
Traders can select the optional Flex Consistency Add-On when purchasing their account.
With the Add-On, the Challenge consistency requirement is increased from 40% to 50%.
This means your highest-profit trading day cannot account for more than 50% of your total profits.
For example, if your highest-profit trading day is $2,000, your total profits must reach at least $4,000 to satisfy the 450% consistency requirement.
The Consistency Add-On does not change the profit target, drawdown, Daily Loss Limit, position size, payout structure, or any other Flex Account parameter.
Its only difference is the Challenge Consistency Rule.
Maximum Position Size
Flex Accounts have the following maximum position sizes:
Account Size | Maximum Position Size |
$50,000 | 4 Mini / 40 Micro Contracts |
$100,000 | 8 Mini / 80 Micro Contracts |
$150,000 | 12 Mini / 120 Micro Contracts |
For position-size calculations, 10 Micro Contracts are equivalent to 1 Mini Contract.
There is no progressive position scaling on Flex Accounts. Traders receive access to their full permitted position size from the beginning.
How do payouts affect Flex Drawdown?
After any approved payout or withdrawal, the drawdown floor will lock at your starting balance + $100.
This ensures that the account remains active and prevents traders from withdrawing down to the exact breach threshold.
Account Size | Drawdown Floor After Payout |
$50,000 | $50,100 |
$100,000 | $100,100 |
$150,000 | $150,100 |
For example, after a payout from a $50,000 Flex Funded Account, the account’s drawdown floor will be permanently locked at $50,100.
Rewards and Payout Structure
Payout Cap
Flex Accounts follow a fixed payout cap structure.
Traders may request up to 50% of their available profits, subject to the maximum payout cap assigned to their account size.
Account Size | Maximum Payout Per Request |
$50,000 | 50% of profits, up to $2,000 |
$100,000 | 50% of profits, up to $2,500 |
$150,000 | 50% of profits, up to $3,000 |
These caps apply to every payout request and do not disappear after a certain number of payouts.
Example
If a trader on a $50,000 Flex Account has $3,000 in available profit, they may request up to $1,500, representing 50% of their profits.
If the trader has $4,000 in available profit, they may request up to $2,000.
If the trader has $5,000 in available profit, 50% would equal $2,500. However, because the $50,000 account has a $2,000 payout cap, the maximum request remains $2,000.
Minimum Winning Days
To become eligible for a payout on a Flex Funded Account, traders must complete at least 5 Winning Days.
Each Winning Day must meet the minimum profit requirement for the applicable account size:
Account Size | Minimum Profit for a Winning Day |
$50,000 | $200 |
$100,000 | $250 |
$150,000 | $300 |
Winning Days do not need to be consecutive.
Once an approved payout has been completed, the Winning Day counter resets, and the trader must complete the required Winning Days again for the next payout cycle.
Flex Payout Eligibility – Net Profit Requirement
For payouts #2 through #5, Flex Funded Accounts must also satisfy a Net Profit Requirement.
To become eligible, traders must:
Complete 5 Winning Days at the minimum required amount.
Reach the required Net Profit since their last approved payout.
Account Size | Winning Day Minimum | Net Profit Required | Payout Cap |
$50,000 | $200 | $1,000 | $2,000 |
$100,000 | $250 | $1,250 | $2,500 |
$150,000 | $300 | $1,500 | $3,000 |
How is Net Profit Calculated?
Net Profit includes all profits and losses generated since the previous approved payout.
For example, on a $50,000 Flex Account, if a trader generates $1,200 in profits but records $200 in losses during the same payout cycle:
$1,200 - $200 = $1,000 Net Profit
The $1,000 Net Profit Requirement has therefore been satisfied.
If the trader instead generates $1,200 in profits and $400 in losses:
$1,200 - $400 = $800 Net Profit
The trader has not yet reached the required $1,000 and must continue trading before becoming eligible for the payout.
Does the Net Profit Requirement change the payout amount?
No.
The Net Profit Requirement determines payout eligibility only.
Once eligible, traders may still request up to 50% of their available profits, subject to their account’s maximum payout cap.
After a Payout
Once a payout is approved, both the 5 Winning Day count and applicable Net Profit Requirement reset for the next payout cycle.
Profit Split
AquaFutures Flex Funded Traders receive a 90% Reward Split.
For example, if an eligible payout contains $1,000 in profits:
Trader receives: $900
AquaFutures receives: $100
The 90% Reward Split applies from the first payout onward.
Payout Schedule
Flex Funded Accounts offer Instant Payout eligibility once all applicable payout requirements have been satisfied.
Payout Frequency: Instant payout after meeting the required Winning Days and applicable payout eligibility requirements
Processing Time: Within 24 business hours
Withdrawal Methods: Rise or Crypto
Minimum Withdrawal: $100 via Crypto and $500 via Rise
