1. Getting around
The Ares web app at ares.pro lets you trade Polymarket and Kalshi prediction markets, copy top traders, analyze and track wallets, and manage your portfolio and rewards. Everything starts from the top navigation bar.
Markets: browse and trade prediction markets. This is the default landing page.
Copy Trading: curated traders, the trader leaderboard, and your copy strategies.
Leaderboard: full trader rankings by PnL or volume.
Arena: the Ares seasonal trading competition.
Mobile: download links for the Ares iOS and Android app.
Analytics: Whales & Insiders, Activity Insights and Wallet Tracking.
Portfolio: your balances, positions, history and connected accounts.
Rewards: Quests and the Referral program.
On the right of the bar you'll find Get the app, Search, Deposit, your balances, notifications and the account menu.
Search: click it or press / to find events, markets, and wallets or profiles. You can filter by platform (All, Polymarket or Kalshi) and include closed markets.
Account menu: Settings, Documentation, Support, App mode and Log out.
App mode: Lite keeps pages simple. Pro turns each event page into a full trading view with an order book, your trade history, top holders, recent trades and comments. You can switch at any time.
The bar at the bottom of the screen has shortcuts that open Prediction Wallet Tracking and Prediction Markets as floating panels you can keep open while you browse. Use MENU to choose which shortcuts appear.
2. Finding and trading markets
The Markets page opens on Explore. The tabs along the top help you narrow things down:
Trending and New: the busiest markets and the latest listings.
Bonding Soon: markets with odds between 40% and 60% that end within 30 days.
Bookmarks: markets you saved with the bookmark icon.
Leverage: markets you can trade with leverage.
Topic tabs: Politics, Sports, Crypto, Culture, World, Mentions, Tech, Finance, Economy, Elections, Climate and Geopolitics.
List views let you switch between All, Polymarket and Kalshi, change between grid and list, and open Filters for category, probability, volume, liquidity, end date, market age, spread and closed markets.
Insta Buy sets a quick amount ($10, $50 or $100) for buying straight from market cards, so check the amount before you click.
Trading an event. Open any market to see its price chart (1H to ALL), volume, end date and every outcome with its Yes and No price. Tabs below show My Positions, Open Orders, Top Holders and Trades.
The trade panel on the right is where you place an order:
Choose Buy or Sell, and Market or Limit.
Pick Yes or No, then enter an amount or use the quick buttons (+$20, +$50, +$100, +$200 or Max).
On eligible markets, set Leverage with the slider. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains, so read the Leverage Trading guides before using it.
To Win shows what you would receive if your outcome resolves in your favor.
Use Share & Earn at the top of an event to share it, and the bookmark icon to save it to your Bookmarks tab.
3. Copy trading
Open Copy Trading in the top bar. It has three tabs, plus two buttons on the right: Analyze a wallet and Copy Trading.
Start with Curated Traders: a curated list of traders ranked by star rating.
Each row shows the trader's stars, all-time PnL, win rate, ROI, average slippage (Slip), recent trend, 7-day PnL, trading frequency per day (Freq) and Copy PnL.
Switch between 7D, 30D and All, filter by minimum stars, win rate and ROI ranges, or search by address or name.
Click Copy at the end of a row to set up a strategy.
Leaderboard ranks every trader by PnL or volume for the day, week, month or all time. You can filter by category, jump to a league (NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, MMA, NFL, UFC) and search wallets.
Strategy Management lists every trader you are copying, with their positions, amount spent, budget, amount sold, buy and sell counts, realized PnL and last activity.
Copy trading: analyze a wallet first
Before you copy anyone, check how copyable they really are. Click Analyze a wallet at the top right of the Copy Trading page (next to the Copy Trading button), paste a Polymarket wallet address and click Analyze.
The Wallet Followability Analyzer replays the wallet's buys at a fixed $10 stake, holding each one to resolution. Because every trade gets the same stake, you see their picking skill separately from their bet sizing.
Star rating and settled trades. The rating is out of 5. Pay attention to the settled trade count next to it: 50 or more is recommended for a reliable read.
Summary cards. Lookback period, settled trades, buy fills, stake and cap, and Copy Sim PnL (what the fixed-stake copy would have made) next to Leader PnL (what the trader made).
Followability Profile. Six scores: Consistency, Calm Cadence, Single-Entry Style, Drawdown Comfort, Flat Edge and Sizing Discipline. Together they describe the trader's rhythm, stacking, drawdowns and sizing. Scores that can't be calculated show n/a.
Charts and history. Equity curves (leader vs. copy sim), per-trade PnL, edge by entry price band, and a table of every settled trade.
Advanced. Change the flat stake, lookback days, max per market and min or max entry price to test your own settings.
The same analysis appears in the Analysis tab of every wallet profile, next to Overview, Active Positions, Closed Positions, Categories, Activity and Transfers.
The analyzer shows how mirrorable a wallet's past behavior is. It is not investment advice or a profit forecast, and your own results depend on the fills you get.
Copy trading: set up a strategy
Click Copy on a trader, Copy Trade on a wallet profile, or the Copy Trading button. The setup window opens with your saved presets on the left (presets you saved in the mobile app appear here too) and the strategy settings on the right.
Strategy name and the Wallet it trades from.
Copy signal. Priority (selected by default) copies a few seconds earlier from pending mempool signals, but pending trades can fail or change before they confirm. Standard waits for confirmed activity.
Buy mode. Percentage of their size, Range, Fixed amount, or Portfolio % (matches the trader's portfolio-weighted percentage).
Sell mode. Market or Limit, then Same %, Fixed, Custom % or Manual (you close positions yourself).
Auto-Redeem claims winnings automatically when a market resolves.
Advanced Settings. Category filter, budget, stop loss, take profit, entry price range, max slippage for buys and sells, max per market, max per trade, minimum volume and liquidity, Min Trigger (the minimum the trader has to buy before you copy), max resolution and copy expiry.
Important: on web, a new strategy starts with Percentage at 100% of the trader's size and no budget limit. If you copy a large trader with these defaults, your trades will be as large as theirs. Set your buy mode, size and budget before you click Start Copying.
Use Save the Preset to reuse your settings, or Duplicate to copy a strategy. For a full explanation of each setting, see Copy Trading on Mobile.
4. Analytics
Open Analytics in the top bar to see what other traders are doing in real time. The screenshot below shows Activity Insights, a live feed of large trades.
Analytics has three tools:
Whales & Insiders. Whales tracks high-volume trades to show where major capital is moving. Insiders tracks fresh wallets, under 7 days old, placing large positions. Filter by side, category, minimum position size, account balance, wallet age and minimum PnL.
Activity Insights. A live feed of large trades across markets, filterable by side, category and minimum position size.
Wallet Tracking. Click Add Wallet or Import a list, then follow their trades in Live Trades, Monitor and Tracked Wallets. You can also Export your list.
5. Portfolio and accounts
Portfolio shows your Polymarket wallet: total value, amount in positions, cash, Deposit and Withdraw, plus your PnL, volume, trades and win rate. Tabs below cover Overview, Analysis, Active Positions, Closed Positions, Categories, Open Orders, Activity and Transfers.
Account Management, the tab next to Portfolio at the top of the page, lists your Polymarket and Kalshi accounts with their balances and Deposit and Withdraw buttons. You can also import an existing Polymarket account or add a new one.
6. Arena and Rewards
Arena is a seasonal trading competition. Manual trades and copy trades both count. Each season has leaderboards for PnL, Volume, ROI and Referrals, and the How to win, Rules and Winners tabs explain the current season.
Your Arena Performance shows your rank and what you still need to qualify. Rankings update every few minutes and stay provisional until the season closes and results are reviewed.
Rewards is where you track your progress and referrals. The Quests tab shows your current rank, your XP, and what you need to reach the next rank.
It has two tabs:
Quests. Earn XP from initiation, daily and weekly quests and daily streaks to rank up from Recruit to Trader, Forecaster, Arbiter and Oracle.
Referral. Share your invite link to bring in new traders. Referrals count after their first trade, and you level up by recruiting active traders (at least $100 lifetime volume) or growing your referral volume.
Things to know
Fees. Manual trades have 0% Ares fees. Polymarket and Kalshi venue fees still apply. Copy trading has a flat 1% fee, and 50% goes to the trader being copied.
Deposit to unlock full data. The full Curated Traders list, the Leaderboard and full Whales & Insiders data unlock after you deposit at least $10.
Check copy defaults on web. New web strategies start at 100% of the trader's size with no budget. Always set a budget before you start copying.
Priority signals are faster but not guaranteed. Pending trades can fail or change before they confirm.
Leverage cuts both ways. It multiplies losses as well as gains.
Read the analyzer with care. Ratings based on fewer than 50 settled trades are less reliable, and past results don't guarantee future ones.
