Tax Tracker KPIs

"Are tax deliverables falling behind schedule? Am I at risk of missing deadlines? Or is everything on track?"

These are the first questions the Status Tracker answers for your clients. Two KPIs at the top indicate the number of deliverables considered Overdue or At Risk.

Below are the definitions for Overdue and At Risk status indicators:

KPI

Definition

On Track

Projects or deliverables that are on track to be completed by the due date.

Due Soon

Projects or deliverables are considered Due Soon if:

  • They have not been started and are due within 14 days

  • They are still in progress and due within 3 days

Overdue

Projects or deliverables that are past the due date and incomplete

Tip: some tax teams find it helpful to intentionally mark deliverables as At Risk or Overdue as a way to surface items that are blocked by clients or require their attention.

Tax Tracker Deliverables

Underneath the KPIs, the table on the Tax Tracker provides details for all outstanding projects and deliverables (NOTE: the table excludes all completed items).

Below are definitions for each field in the deliverables table. Columns can be sorted and filtered to narrow down your view of specific deliverables.
