Adding Employee Phone Numbers for Smishing Campaigns

Integrating phone numbers

To set up smishing campaigns, you must be able to add the phone numbers of the employees you want to test in Arsen.


1 – Objectives

  • Add the phone numbers of employees to be trained

  • Update employee phone numbers


2 – Prerequisites

  • Have the Smishing module activated

  • Have the necessary permissions to edit employee profiles

  • Ensure employees have a phone number including the country code

⚠️ Warning
Numbers without a country code cannot be added to Arsen.

3 – Adding employee phone numbers via CSV import

There are two ways to add numbers in Arsen:

  • Add them via CSV import

  • Add them through Active Directory synchronization (Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra)


4 – Adding phone numbers via CSV import

To add phone numbers using a CSV file:

  • Click Employees in the main menu

  • Click Import

  • Download the example CSV file to structure your data correctly

  • Fill in the file with numbers in the correct format (including country code)

  • Import the file to update the employee list

⚠️ Warning
Any variation in column names may invalidate the import.


5 – Adding employee phone numbers via your synchronized directory

If employees are synchronized with your tenant, their information (including phone numbers) cannot be modified via CSV import.

To update phone numbers:

  • Edit the data directly in your Active Directory (Microsoft or Google)

  • Run a new synchronization with Arsen
