To test your organization and observe employee behavior during a simulated phishing attack, you need to add your employees to the platform.
You have two methods to add employees: synchronizing your tenant or manually adding employees via import.
To access our synchronization options, feel free to use the links below:
In this article, we will detail the procedure for importing employees via a CSV file.
The import can be used both to add new employees and to update existing ones.
Table of contents
Prerequisites
In order to import your users into the platform, the domain names of their email addresses must be verified.
For example, if you have verified the domain arsen.co but want to test users with email addresses ending in @example.com, the import will fail.
Make sure the domain names of the email addresses you plan to import are verified. If not, refer to the procedure to validate domain names.
CSV file format
The CSV file format is intentionally simple: the first row contains the header, and the following rows contain the information of the employees to be imported.
firstname | lastname | phone | language | memberOf | |
james | Bond | +44 | EN | MI6 |
CSV file import procedure
To import your employees from a properly formatted CSV file:
Go to the Employees section, then click on the file upload icon at the top right.
In the new window, you can drag and drop your CSV file.
Once the file is selected, check that the CSV has been correctly read during the preview step.
If something doesn’t look right, you can go back to upload a corrected file by clicking
Previous. If everything looks correct, clickNext.
To finalize your import:
⚠️ Deleting a user profile via import will result in the loss of all results associated with that employee.
You will receive a transactional email within a few seconds or minutes confirming that the import has been completed.
