Enabling Greeting Cards

To enable greeting cards on your site, you’ll start by opening the Art Print Store on your site where you’ve uploaded your print images.

Once the store has loaded, click on the Media tab, and Art Prints.

From here, scroll down until you can see the Greeting Card medium, and click on the toggle to turn it on. And then click on Save.

Setting Greeting Card Markups

Setting markups and prices.

To set up your markups for this product, start with your Art Print Store open, then click first on the Pricing tab, then on Manage Your Art Prints Markups.

The next step will depend on whether you’re using the Simple or Advanced markup strategy.

If you’re using Simple markups:

Scroll down to the Greeting Card medium, and enter any size in the Size field and 50 into the Markup % field. This will set the prices as shown on the right, at which point you can click on Save to store these values. (We recommend using 30-50% for this, but I’m using 50% for this example)

If you’re using Advanced markups:

You will have two additional values to consider here:

mceclip6.png

First change the value in % Markup For Style Finishes to be the same as the value in % Markup For Print Options. We recommend 60-70%, but I’ll use 70% for this example. (Also, make a note of the value that was in % Markup For Style Finishes, as we’ll want to restore this when we’re finished).

Now scroll down to the Greeting Card medium, and enter any size in the Size field and 50 into the Markup % field. This will set the prices as shown on the right, at which point you can click on Save to store these values. (We recommend using 30% for this, when using the Advanced markup strategy). Click on Save once you’ve changed this.

mceclip8.png

Now you should restore the original value under % Markup For Style Finishes, and Save again.

Important: If you wish to check the values in the Greeting Card breakdown beside the size and markup fields for the medium, you’ll need to change your % Markup For Styles to match the value in the % Markup For Print Options field and save before scrolling down, otherwise the numbers displayed under Style Markup will be incorrect. This is only cosmetic, as the numbers displayed on the live site will still be accurate. If you change the numbers to view this section, always remember to change them back once you are finished.
