With our recent update, Art Storefronts has now added widgets to the blog. These can be used by any member of the Art Storefronts platform.

  1. Log in to your Art Storefronts Control Panel and scroll down to your Blog Click on the link.

  2. On the next page, find the tab labeled Widgets and click on it.

  3. Click on the button labeled Add Blog Widget.

  4. In the Name box, provide the widget with a descriptive name. Your customers will see this.

  5. Markup Type is where you can choose the type of widget you want to create. In our example, we’re going to select Custom.

    1. Subscribe Box: This will create a widget that allows a customer to subscribe to your blog.

    2. Recent Posts: This will allow customer to easily see what your most recent posts were about.

    3. Custom: This can be used to create custom widgets on your site. If you create a custom widget and it does not work Technical Support will not be able to assist you.

  6. Click Create.

    1. If you created a Subscribe or Recent Posts widget, you’ll be given the option to turn the widget on or off and change its name.

    2. If you created a Custom widget, you will be given the option to turn the widget on or off. You can also rename it and then in the mark-up editor you can customize the widget with either the WYSIWYG Editor or by using custom coding. For more information on this, please see our article How To: Edit a Custom Blog Widget.
