Every member of the ASF platform can create and use a blog. We strongly encourage using this feature because it gives your customers a little more insight into who you are and your interests. This is a great way to build a connection with your audience and possibly get them to subscribe to your newsletter or even purchase a piece of your art.

In this article, we’ve compiled a list of steps you would want to take to get your blog set up and running like a well-oiled machine. We’d strongly recommend keeping an eye on this article because we are working toward making our Blog functionality even better!

If you have any trouble understand the information in this article or you cannot complete any of the steps for some reason, please e-mail cs@artstorefronts.com. One of our Technical Support agents will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Your Art Storefronts won’t automatically have a Blog page created. Instead you’ll have to do through the process of creating a Blog page that you can use. This process is uncomplicated and should only take you a few minutes.

Please Note: When creating a Blog page, you must provide it with a title or the Blog will not be created and you will receive an error message.

After creating your Blog, you can add a Billboard to it. While ASF advises against using Billboards, if you want to use one for your Blog, we find it’s best to use Canva and follow our article outlining the appropriate size for the Billboard.

Once your blog is created, you can start adding content to it! You’ll have a great deal of control over what the text you input looks like as well as the ability to upload images and other information into your blog posts. If you need more information on working with the Editor in the blog, you can always check out our article [Master Article] [For Everyone] How To: Use the WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) Editor.

You can also add Widgets to your Blog. These can be used to get people to subscribe, show recent posts or show anything else that you can come up with.

We’ve got information on how to create Widgets, edit the pre-created Widgets and create custom Widgets.
