If you are a self-fulfilling Artist using an Art Print Store, you may find that there are items of the same size that you want to price differently for any number of reasons. With the Art Storefronts platform this is possible and you can do it all within a single store as opposed to creating a new store page for each pricing level. This will allow you to keep things organized and easy to find.
Log in to your Art Storefronts Control Panel and click on the Art Print Store you want to work in. In our example, we’ll be using the store titled Shop Art.
Click on the tab labeled Media.
Click on the button labeled Add Medium.
Provide the medium with a Name. We will name ours Canvas.
Select a Default Media Type.
Click Next.
On the next page you can fill out all the information in any way you choose (if you need guidance, please see our article How To: Add A Custom Media), but the section you want to find is Internal Identifier and enter in something like Tier 1.
Click Save.
You will want to create as many mediums as you need for the number of tiers you need. As you’ll see here, we’ve created three canvas options and labeled them Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Tier 1 is the least expensive. Tier 3 is the most expensive.
After you have your medias created, click on the tab labeled Categories and Products.
Scroll down and find the images you want to set to Tier 1. Put a check-mark next to all of them.
Click on Bulk Edit.
Put a check-mark next to Edit Medium Availability.
Find the Tiers that you want to turn off for these images and move the Slider into the off position.
Click Bulk Update and repeat this process until all of your products have been tagged with the appropriate tiered media. After that your tiered pricing will be set up and available on your live site.
