Authorize.net is a payment gateway that is available for use on the Art Storefronts platform. This gateway allows your customers to use credit cards when checking out on your site. Generally, we recommend using Stripe, but Authorize.net requires a U.S. checking account and may not support accounts outside the U.S. If you are located outside the U.S., you may need to explore alternative payment gateway options.
Troubleshooting Browser-Related Issues
If you encounter issues such as looping during the signup process or being unable to complete specific steps (e.g., the secret code section), follow these steps:
Use a Supported Browser: Ensure you are using a supported browser like Google Chrome for the best experience. Other browsers may not be fully compatible with the Authorize.net website.
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser’s cache and cookies to remove any stored data that might be causing the issue. Art Storefronts provides a guide on how to clear your browser cache.
Try a Different Device: If the issue persists, attempt the signup process on a different device to rule out device-specific problems.
Contact Authorize.net Support: For persistent issues, reach out to Authorize.net support for further assistance.
