In this article, we will walk through how to create mailing labels from ARTERNAL contact export.
Step 1: Download the contact export from ARTERNAL. You can find more details on exporting contacts here.
Step 2: Edit the export in Excel.
Keep the name and address columns, and remove the rest of the columns on the spreadsheet.
The final spreadsheet should look like the screenshot below.
Step 3: Create the mailing labels in Microsoft Word.
3.1. In the new Word document, click on Mailings on the top toolbar, and then select Start Mail Merge > Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard.
3.2. Then follow the steps in the right sidebar. Step 1, select Labels.
3.3. In the next step, click on the Label options on the right, and select the label template in the pop-up window.
3.4. Click Browse on the right sidebar to select the contact export file.
After selecting the file, you can un-select any rows that you don't need, then go to the next step.
3.5. Click Address Block to add addresses to the label.
After that, you will see a preview of the label in the pop-up window. If you need to add more information such as phone number, click More items on the right. If it looks good, click Update all labels and then go to the next step.
3.6. Then you will see the final preview. To print it, click Next: Complete the merge.
