Utilizing Hover within the Zuper platform

In this section of the article, we show you how to order Hover property data directly within Zuper and how to view the synced data when it's ready.

How to order new Hover property data

  • Navigate to the Job Details page within Zuper for the job that requires Hover property data

  • Click on the Measurements tab.

  • Click + Order New Measurement button in the top-right corner

  • You will be given two options:

    • 1. Create New Measurement

    • 2. Select an Existing Project

Option 1: Create New Measurement

If you choose to create a new measurement, you’ll need to fill in a few details:

  • Project Name: By default, this will match the Zuper Job Title. You can edit it if needed

  • Capture By: Choose who will capture the Hover property photos

  • Field Executive: By default, Zuper auto-fills the assigned FE’s name, email, and phone

  • Homeowner: The homeowner’s details will be pre-filled

  • Professional: You’ll need to manually enter the name, email, and phone

Note: Name, Email, and Phone are mandatory for whichever option you select.

  • Deliverable Type: This will default to Roof Only

  • Service Address: Pulled automatically from the job details, but you can edit it if needed.

You can review and edit any pre-filled information before submitting. Once ready:

  • Click Submit to send the request to Hover.

  • The order will then appear under Zuper’s Measurements tab with an In Progress status.

Option 2-Selecting an existing project:

If you already have a Hover project and want to sync it to your Zuper job, simply pick the project from the list thats shown to you:

  • The service address from the Zuper job will automatically appear in the search bar

  • Any Hover projects that match the same service address will be a listed option to choose from.

    • Any previously linked Hover projects with the same address will be hidden so that you can be sure all the ones offered in the list are available for syncing.

Viewing synced measurements

Once the property data has been fully generated in Hover, the spatial data will automatically sync into Zuper. To view it:

  • Navigate to the Measurements tab in the Zuper job

  • Click-to-open the measurement card that shows the Completed status

  • All synced values from Hover are mapped to Zuper’s standard measurement tokens

Edit, manage, or download

In this last section, we show you how to edit, and download Hover property data directly within Zuper.

How to edit synced property data

You can edit synced measurement values directly within Zuper if adjustments are needed:

  • Click the Edit icon next to a measurement category, or open the kebab menu (⋮) and select Edit

  • Any updated values will display an Edited label beside them

  • Any edits made will also be recorded in the activity log

If a synced measurement is no longer relevant, you can remove it from the job in Zuper:

  • Open the kebab menu (⋮) on the Measurement Card

  • Select Remove

  • The measurement will be removed from the job, and the action will be logged in the job activity

Activity Logs: Zuper automatically records important actions related to Hover data. You can see when:

  • a new project is created, or synced

  • a measurement is edited, or

  • a measurement is removed from a job

How to download measurement files

Once a measurement is completed in Hover, you can download it directly from Zuper.

  • Open the kebab menu (⋮) on the Measurement Card

  • Select Download and choose the desired file type

Note: Only PDF downloads are supported at this time. XML and JSON formats will be supported in the future.

View 3D models and PDFs

You can access Hover’s measurements and 3D model within Zuper. The PDF will open directly within Zuper’s platform, however the 3D model can only be viewed in Hover. So, clicking View for the 3D model will automatically open it within the Hover app.
