I can’t upload/edit photos of my artworks

For a picture of an artwork to be accepted by our platform, it must fill in certain conditions to ensure that it is of high quality.

The conditions for photos are the following:

  • The photos must be in a .JPEG or .PNG format

  • The image must be least 1000 pixels on the smallest side (if this isn't the case then the quality won't be sufficient and it will appear to be pixelated on the website)

  • The size of the photo must not exceed 4MB so that the page does not take too long to load as this often makes visitors leave.

If your photo fulfils this criteria, you will have no problems uploading it onto the website.

Please be aware that you will not be able to directly change the main picture of an artwork that is visible online; you will need to create a new one using the duplicating tool.

You can, however, edit any additional images. Simply click on the “Edit” button (the pencil icon), then go to step 2, “Artwork information”. Next, click on the “Remove” button to delete the existing image, then on “Upload a picture” to add a new image.

Please note than you cannot edit photos of artworks that are “inactive” you must reactive them first.
