When this setting is enabled, the cart drawer will open after your customer adds the item to their cart. Making it clear that the item was added successfully, while also giving the benefit of showing them any upsell or reward offers you may have set up.

When this setting is disabled, the cart drawer will not open automatically when your customer adds an item to their cart.

While this is a less intrusive experience, it could lead to confusion or frustration. Customers may believe the Add to Cart failed since there was very little feedback to their action.
