Overview
The translation section of Upcart's settings allow you to change the Phrasing and language of Upcart's elements. Translation settings can be found in your Upcart Setting>Translations:
Where to Find It
Go to:
Upcart > Editor > Settings > Translations
Editable Text Fields
Cart Title
Text shown at the top of the cart drawer.
You can use {{cart_quantity}} to display the number of items in the cart.
Checkout
Label for the checkout button.
Use {{total_price}} to show the total cart value after discounts.
Your Cart is Empty
Shown when the cart is empty or if recommendations are enabled but no items are present.
Automatic Discount Savings
Green savings text shown under each product price.
Calculated using compare-at price or base price, depending on your pricing settings.
Total Discount Savings
Displayed at the bottom of the cart when a discount is applied.
Shows the name of each active discount and the combined total saved.
Continue Shopping
Text for the continue shopping link, if the setting is enabled in Cart Settings.
Additional Translations
Discount Apply Button
Label for the apply button next to the discount code entry field.
Found under Cart Editor > Discounts.
Add Text (Upsells Module)
Text on the “Add” button for upsell items.
Found under Cart Editor > Upsells.
Translation notes
Upcart currently supports editing translations for a single language only.
Multi-language support is not available. For advanced international setups, see this document for recommended workarounds.
