How to display a survey on the Shopify post-purchase page (thank you page)

Guide to adding the Asklayer app block to Shopify's post-purchase and order status pages to show a survey at checkout.

This article is for merchants using Shopify.

To display a survey on Shopify's post-purchase page (thank-you page), you need to add the Asklayer app block to your theme.​

Steps

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes, and click Customize.

  2. Click the dropdown at the top and select Checkout and new customer accounts.

  3. From the dropdown at the top, select Thank you.

  4. Add the app block.


    ​

  5. Click post-purchase-survey Asklayer.

  6. Confirm the block has been added, then click Save.


    ​

  7. If you also want to display the survey on the order status page, select Order Status in step 3 and repeat steps 4–6.


That's it! Please note that due to Shopify's checkout extensibility limitations, the survey design and color will differ from the preview. Thank you for your understanding.
