There might be instances where you will need to send a new set of collaboration terms to a member you have previously sent terms to. For example, a member might change their social handle, or accidentally provide the incorrect handle on the application page.

If you have already sent terms for a certain social handle, a member will not be able to submit their live links through those terms if they post using a different handle (e.g., live links to content posted on the Instagram account @aspireio cannot be submitted through terms sent for the Instagram account @aspireiq).

The first thing you will need to do is to ask the member for the correct social handle. You can send them a simple email, and then manually update their member profile once they send the correct social handle. Check out this quick video on how to edit member profiles. Once you update their handle, make sure to refresh your screen.

πŸ’‘ You can also ask them to update their data using our Info Update feature by following the steps in this article. This will automatically update their member profile once they send in the correct information.

Directions:

Once the member's social handle has been updated, you can go ahead and edit their terms by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the member's profile, click on Member Actions, then select Terms.

  2. Click View Terms next to the set of terms you want to edit.

  3. Scroll down and click Edit Terms.

  4. Click on the X button beside each content requirement for the wrong social handle.

  5. Click on Add more content. You should see the updated social handle pop up when choosing content guidelines.

  6. Select the content guidelines for the correct post types, scroll to the bottom, and then click Save.

  7. Edit and input details as necessary, and then click Propose Terms once done.
