A product group is a list of ASINs used for breaking down your catalog into smaller groups or categories. It helps you manage and analyze your products more easily.
How to create a product group
You can create a product group before creating the strategy. Here we will cover how to create a product group before creating a strategy.
Go to Product Center > Product Groups and click on “ Create a new Product Group”.
Give a name to your Product Group and hit “ Next ”.
Click "Add ASINs"
Select a list of ASINs in the box for your group (based on similar product lifecycles, margins, category's, etc.)
Click "Add Selection", and You're Done!

If you want to analyze the performance of multiple products over time, you can create a Product Group and track key metrics like Sales, ACOS, and other KPIs in the Product Analysis tab.
When creating a Product Group for reporting purposes only, you can include any products you want, and grouping them by similar attributes is not necessary. Since these groups are purely for analysis, they have no impact on your advertising management unless the product group is assigned to a strategy.
