The SOF (Proof of Income) is a procedure requested by AstroPay to ensure the security and compliance of your transactions. It serves to confirm that the funds moved in your account have a legitimate origin.

When is SOF required?
If you move more than 3,000 USD (or the equivalent in BRL) per month in your AstroPay account, we may request a proof of income.

How will you be notified?
When a SOF is required, you’ll see a banner in the AstroPay app. Just follow the instructions and upload the document directly in the app.

SOF Approval Requirements
The submitted document must meet the following criteria:

  • Show the monthly income received.

  • Have been issued within the last 90 days.

  • Be under the name of the AstroPay account holder.

  • Be legible, preferably in PDF format.

Accepted Documents in Brazil
You may submit any of the following documents, provided they meet the above requirements:

  • Payslips

  • Invoices or receipts for services rendered

  • Proof of pension payments

  • Income Tax Return (IRPF)

  • Bank statements that clearly show the source of your income

Important Tip
If your account restriction mentions a specific amount, that’s the minimum amount you’ll need to prove.
If no amount is specified, the minimum required will be 3,000 USD per month.
