Resolve a duplicate account restriction

If your account was restricted due to duplication, it means multiple AstroPay accounts were created using the same personal details. This usually happens when a user loses access to their original account and creates a new one.

How it is resolved

  1. AstroPay confirms account ownership.

  2. You choose which account to keep.

  3. The other account is closed.

💡 To avoid this in the future, keep your contact information (email and phone number) updated in your account settings.
