Automatic Balance Adjustment

Sometimes you may notice that money you just deposited or received disappears or is deducted automatically. This usually happens when the system detects a duplicate credit or an incorrect transaction, such as:

  • A cashback was accidentally credited twice.

  • A refund was applied twice.

  • Issues with AstroCard transactions or ATM problems.

When you check your transaction history, you may notice that on a previous day, an amount was credited to your account more than once by mistake.

During this process, the affected amount is temporarily unavailable until the system completes the adjustment.

How does it work?

When a duplicate or incorrect credit is detected, the system automatically deducts the correct amount.

Example:

  • You deposited $80.

  • A $50 debit needs to be applied.

  • The system deducts $50 automatically, leaving $30 available for use.

What should I do?

  • Do not try to pay the amount manually.

  • Any outstanding debit will be automatically deducted each time you make a deposit.

  • All adjustments are reviewed internally before any charge is finalized.

  • You can continue using the remaining balance normally.
