A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) is someone who holds or has held a prominent public position, or is closely related to someone who does. Declaring your PEP status is mandatory for legal and regulatory compliance.

You are a PEP but declared otherwise

If you did not declare your PEP status correctly, update your information as soon as possible.

How to update your status

  1. Download the PEP declaration form in your preferred language: English, Spanish, or Portuguese.

  2. Fill out the form completely and submit it.

You declared as PEP by mistake

If you selected the PEP option accidentally and you are not a Politically Exposed Person, your information can be reviewed and corrected.

  • You may be asked to confirm your status and provide additional details.

  • During the review, some account features may remain temporarily limited.

Once the review is completed and your non-PEP status is confirmed, your account is updated accordingly.
