If you have an AstroPay account in Argentina, we may ask you to verify the origin of the money in your wallet through a Source of Funds (SOF) check. This is a regulatory requirement to keep your account compliant and your funds secure.
What SOF verification is
Source of Funds (SOF) verification is the process of submitting documentation that shows where the money in your AstroPay account comes from. We use this information to comply with financial regulations applicable in Argentina.
Accepted documents
You can submit one of the following documents as proof of your source of funds:
Payslips.
Monotributo invoices.
Pension payment receipts.
Income certification with notarized accountant's signature.
Tax declarations.
Document requirements
Your document must meet all of the following:
Be issued within the last 90 days.
Clearly display your full name, matching the one registered in your AstroPay account.
Be uploaded as a single PDF file.
Be submitted from inside the AstroPay app. Documents sent through chat or email are not accepted.
Once your document is uploaded, our team reviews it and your account status is updated based on the result.
