Your AstroPay account in Brazil has specific limits for each transaction type. These limits may vary depending on your verification level.
Requirements to add balance
To add balance to your account, the following must be in place:
Completed identity verification (KYC).
Confirmed registered email.
Pix transfer limits
Incoming: up to 15,000 USD per week and 15,000 USD per month.
Bill payment limits
Maximum: BRL 30,000.
AstroCard limits
Limits are automatically set based on your usage patterns and security rules.
To check your limits: open AstroCard, tap More actions, then select Limits.
Limits cannot be increased manually in the app — a request and review are required.
How limits work
Limits depend on your verification level: KYC only, or KYC plus Source of Funds (SOF) verification.
If you need to increase your limit, you can request an increase by submitting documents that prove your source of funds, such as income statements. Once verified, the relevant team will review your documents and your limit may be adjusted based on the financial capacity demonstrated.
