Your PIN protects your AstroPay account. You can update it directly from the app if you remember it, or reset it through identity verification if you forgot it. This article covers both options.
Update your PIN
Use this option when you remember your current PIN and want to change it.
Tap your profile picture in the upper left corner.
Select Security.
Tap Update PIN.
Enter your current PIN.
Create your new PIN. It must be between 4 and 8 characters.
Once confirmed, your new PIN is active and replaces the previous one.
Reset your PIN if you forgot it
Use this option when you do not remember your current PIN. The reset requires identity verification.
Open the AstroPay app and tap Forgot your PIN?
Log out of the app.
Enter the phone number linked to your account.
Receive and enter the OTP (one-time password) sent to your email.
Complete the facematch verification to confirm your identity.
You will receive an email with a link to create a new PIN.
Open the link and set your new PIN.
Log back in with your new PIN.
With your PIN updated or reset, you can continue using your AstroPay account securely.
