When is a facematch requested?
A facematch is requested when we detect suspicious activity or when your account is flagged by our fraud prevention system.
How to complete it
Open the AstroPay app when prompted.
Follow the on-screen instructions to take a selfie.
The system compares your selfie with the photo from your original identity verification.
The process takes less than a minute. Once completed, your account returns to normal operation.
