If your PEP declaration is incorrect, you can update it directly with AstroPay. A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) is someone who holds or has held a prominent public position, or is closely related to someone who does — and keeping this declaration accurate is mandatory for legal and regulatory compliance.
You are a PEP but declared otherwise
If you didn't declare your PEP status correctly, correct it as soon as possible by sending us an updated declaration.
Download the PEP declaration form in your preferred language: English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
Fill out every field of the form.
Submit the completed form so we can review and apply your updated status.
You declared as PEP by mistake
If you selected the PEP option by accident and you are not a Politically Exposed Person, your information can be reviewed and corrected.
You may be asked to confirm your status and provide additional details.
During the review, some account features may stay temporarily limited.
Once the review is complete and your non-PEP status is confirmed, your account is updated accordingly.
ℹ️ Note: Keeping your PEP declaration up to date protects your account from unnecessary limitations and keeps it aligned with regulatory requirements.
