Audit logs is a paid feature on Atlas Standard and Premium plans. It enables administrators to look back at changes that have been made in your Atlas workspace. This is useful when you need to troubleshoot a problem or if you need to keep a record of important events, such as changes to permissions.

How long are events stored?

Events are removed from Audit logs after 180 days. If you'd like to save a record before they are removed, you can export the audit logs periodically.

What happens if I downgrade to the Free plan?

You will no longer have access to Audit logs, however, events will continue to be logged. If you upgrade to a paid plan in the future you will see events from the past 180 days.
