Private Keys
The private keys are operated by Atlas using Fireblocks multi-party computation (MPC) infrastructure. This type of architecture is commonly referred to as custodial wallet infrastructure or delegated signing authority.
Users do not need to (nor can they) independently sign transactions, it is delegated to Atlas. Employing this method allows us to remove some of the user experience complexities associated with handling blockchain signature requests.
