Best practices & ways to use

Compare annual building consumption: Compare annual energy or water consumption of the buildings in your portfolio to identify which buildings require the most attention.

Compare consumption across sub-points: Compare consumption of a building's sub-points to identify which monitored areas require the most attention. Select the "+ view submeters" link to display a graph of the building's sub-points.

Compare tenant or space consumption: If tenant spaces and point assignments have been made, the Comparisons app can be used to compare tenant or space consumption across your portfolio. Costs will be based on the utility rates and consumption data received. Determine which tenants or spaces have the highest consumption to help your organization prioritize energy efficiency projects.

Identify and reduce peak demand: Determine at what point peak demand is reached and take action to reduce peak demand. To identify peak demand, select 'electricity' as the point type. Then, select 'peak kW' as the metric. Finally, select a period.
