Funnel charts are often used to represent a user journey and combine data from various questions, often awareness, consideration, and purchase. You can use the latest Attest Boards feature to build funnel charts for your survey and use filters to dive deeper into the data quickly.
What are funnel charts?
Funnel charts represent a series of stages in a process, making them particularly useful for tracking brand health. They help you measure your brand performance and identify drop-off points, giving you a clear view of how consumers move through different stages of engagement with your brand.
By analysing your funnel data, you can uncover valuable insights to drive marketing and business decisions. Understanding where potential customers drop off allows you to refine messaging, optimise campaigns, and allocate resources more effectively. Comparing funnel performance across different demographics or segments helps identify high-performing areas and those needing improvement, enabling a more targeted approach to growth.
How to build funnels in the Attest dashboard?
To create funnel charts, you first need to create a board for your survey. You can do this by navigating to "Boards" on the left-hand menu and creating a new board.
Once you have a board, you can add a funnel chart using the following steps:
Add an Empty Funnel – Click the “+ Add” button and select “Funnel.”
Add Your Data – In Edit mode, write the label for the steps you want to add to the funnel (e.g., Awareness) and choose the relevant question/answer combination. Note: At the moment, you can only add single & multiple choice questions to your funnel.
Design Your Chart – Choose between Funnel, Bar, or Column chart types and apply custom colours. Your chart will automatically update.
Apply Filters – Apply filters to your charts to see how the funnel differs for various demographics or other key segments. Tip: Duplicate your chart and use drag & drop to create a side-by-side comparison for various segments.
Share – Share boards with both internal and external stakeholders by clicking on the "Share" button and copying the link.
You can easily update your board every time new wave data comes in by updating the selected wave at the top left of your board. This will save significant time compared to manually updating funnels.
