Getting Started with Hybrid Audience Research

Panel and customer research in one platform

Updated over a month ago

What is Hybrid Audience Research?

The ability to send your research to Attest’s panels of respondents in 59 countries as well as your own audience data, then analyse and compare the results in one dashboard.

Why send Hybrid Research?

Compare your current audience and future consumers

Stop building pivot tables. Identify key differences between your audiences with analysis tools like demographic filters, crosstabs and automated statistical significance all in one dashboard.

Enrich your surveys, to get a true view of the market and your current audience or customers, to ensure you can make the best decisions.

Drafting Hybrid Research

When drafting your survey, on the Audience page you can add an “Attest Panels” audience and an “Own Audience” audience.

When you choose to survey your own audience, you will see your Respondent Survey link, which will only be active when you launch your survey.

By adding a unique Respondent ID on the end of the URL for each of your own customers, you will be able to identify respondents in your results.

You can also enrich your data by uploading a CSV of your own audience data and their key attributes. Allowing you to segment your data and better compare your results in Attest. You can import any attribute you would like to analyse as long as it doesn’t include PII.

See here for more information on Importing your Own Audience Data

Credits for Hybrid Research are always debited from the Default Pot.

Comparing your results

You can use crosstabs and charts, on the Analysis page to compare your audiences side-by-side.

With automated statistical significance you can easily see the clear differences and similarities between the audiences. You can also filter both audience types by demographics to cut the data further and use segments to dive deep.

This makes it incredibly easy to drill into the segments that are important to you and get granular insights for both audience types with just a couple of clicks.

If you upload Age and Gender data about your customers, you can compare survey responses from both your Attest Panels and your own customers.
