A new & improved results dashboard

Discover more about the upcoming design changes to improve the results dashboard

Updated over a week ago

We're introducing design improvements to our results dashboard to make data analysis smoother and more intuitive. The new design will offer easier navigation, quick access to key actions (such as creating a board or sending a new wave), and will help you easily split out your data based on various demographics, segments and questions. As a result of this looking at significant differences will be even quicker.

Here’s an overview of some of the key changes:

1. Navigation moved to the top

We've removed the left-hand side navigation and moved it to the top of the page. Here, you will now find:

  • Boards: See and access the boards created for this survey or create a new board from scratch.

  • Manage: Quickly access key options such as sending another wave, adding more respondents and managing your own audience data. Selecting “More manage actions” will bring you to the current manage page.

  • Export & share: Find key actions for your survey and boards such as export and share at the top right

2. New side panel for data analysis

A new side panel on the left consolidates all key actions for analysing your data in one place.

Top section: filtering data

  • Waves & Audiences: If your survey includes multiple waves or audiences, select which data sets to load.

  • Filters: Click "Filter" to open a pop-up with all filter options, including:

    • Segments: The segments you created for this survey and any library segments that have been created for your organisation

    • Demographics: Key demographics such as age and gender, as well as any demographics you targeted for your survey.

    • Answer filters: All questions and answers from your survey that you can apply as filters. You will also still be able to apply an answer filter by clicking on the answer when you are on the “Overview” tab.

  • Respondent counter: Updates dynamically to show the number of respondents included in your filtered view.

Note: Only demographics targeted in the survey will be displayed in audience settings. To view other demographics, you can create a segment, but be aware that not all respondents will have this data available, meaning it may not be representative.

Bottom section: splitting data

  • This replaces the previous “Analysis” & “Trends” tabs and it’s where you can choose the different variables you want to compare against each other such as segments, demographics, questions, waves & audiences.

  • When a split is applied, the visualisation will default to "Chart." You can also select "Crosstab" for a table view.

Note: Splits are not available in the "Overview" tab.

Did you know?

Did you know that you can now also create a “Board” either by clicking on "Boards" or by clicking on the "Add to Board" button on every chart visualisation? This allows you to build stories with your data and save various visualisations in one place as a playground for your analysis and to share with others. Learn more about Boards here.
