We do plan on adding a variety of features to help with plotting and organization that will include sections for notes, but we don't have an ETA on this yet.
In the meantime, you might create a chapter for notes and use the 'include in > none' option to make sure it doesn't appear in exported files.
To use this feature:
Hover over the page title and click the dots that appear.
Select Include In >
Then select None
