⚠️ Customer is seeing xml:lang="en" lang="en” as the default language for their ePub. Even though they selected a different language within Book Details
I am sorry for the trouble, Atticus does not translate the languages for EPUBs, even if you select it from the Edit book details page. This is something the team is looking into for the future, though, and we appreciate you bringing this up again.
For now, the best way to change your language is to use a program like Calibre and use the find and replace function. Our team went ahead and did this for you, and will attach your epub below. If you would like to use it, please go through and make sure it looks good on your side.

Steps to change Epub Language - Calibre
Step 1. Change the Metadata to 'German' or desired language
Step 2. Go into 'Edit Book' and open the Find/Replace Function.
Find: xml:lang="en" lang="en"
Replace: xml:lang="de" lang="de"
Click > Replace All
Step 3. Save file to disk > Save Single Format to Disk > Epub
