What happened to Custom pages?

Updated over 4 months ago

To provide authors with enhanced flexibility in customizing special pages, we have introduced a new Chapter Options Menu. You can easily access this menu by clicking on the cog icon at the top right corner of the editor, positioned just above the editor on the Writing Tab to recreate any of our previous special page types - including custom pages, but with even more flexibility.

Here's how to replicate the look of the old Custom page:

  • Click the cog at the top right corner of the editor

  • Turn on:

    • Hide Chapter Image

    • Hide Chapter Heading

    • Hide in TOC

With these settings the body text will start at the top of the page just like with the old custom pages, but now you have even more options, for example if you would also like to hide the first sentence formatting, or choose to include this page in the TOC.
