Update, Clear Cache, Restart

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If Atticus doesn’t seem to be loading or working as quickly as you’re used to, you may need to make sure your browser is updated and cache has been cleared. Here are specific step-by-step instructions:

NOTE: If you use a browser that is not Chrome, you can Google how to update. If you’re using Edge, Safari, or DuckDuckGo with Atticus, you may want to try using Chrome instead.

Step 1: Check Chrome for Updates and Install any updates!

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the very top right of Chrome

  2. Find Help near the bottom of the list

  3. Click About Google Chrome

  4. This will open up a new tab and automatically start updating Chrome for you

  5. It should say Relaunch Chrome with a button when it’s finished

  6. Click to Relaunch

Step 2: Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

  1. Open Chrome and type in chrome://settings/content/all.

  2. In the search bar, type Atticus.io.

  3. Locate the website in the search results and click the trash can icon next to it.

  4. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up by clicking “Delete”.

Step 3: Restart Your Computer

  1. To ensure all of the above works properly, restart your computer

  2. If there are any updates on your computer itself pending, make sure to Update and Restart

  3. The order makes a difference in the success, so please be sure to start from the beginning and run through as listed.

Once all that’s done, you should be able to log back into app.atticus.io without further trouble!
