Theft Coverage

Learn how Augment Theft Coverage works in practice.

Augment Theft Coverage was created to give you ease of mind with your Augment e-scooters.

In a nutshell: if you have subscribed to our theft coverage service for a small monthly fee, you will receive refurbished e-scooter and/or battery, in case of theft or vandalism (deductibles apply).

Prerequisites:

  • You must have an active e-scooter subscription to subscribe our Theft Coverage.

  • You must have connected & locked all of your e-scooters, which you are an owner of, in the last 24 hours to subscribe the Theft Coverage.

Log in at augment.eco/app to see, whether you are eligible for the Theft Coverage subscription.

Subscription:

  • Minimum contract term is 12 months, and the subscription continues automatically on a monthly billing term if not terminated.

  • A single Theft Coverage subscription covers one of your Augment.Eco e-scooter under an active e-scooter subscription.

  • Deductibles apply in case of an incident.

    • All monthly fees & deductibles must be paid in time.

Theft Coverage:

  • Your e-scooter must be securely locked as required in terms and conditions in order for Augment Theft Coverage to cover incidents.

  • You must report the incident to your local police without waiting, and provide Augment copy of the official police report.

  • You must report the incident to Augment as soon as possible to ensure quick handling of the incident.

  • Please have the serial number of affected e-scooter ready to ensure smooth service.

  • Augment will review your submission in the earliest and provide you with instructions where applicable.

  • You are responsible for e-scooter & battery deductibles before Augment will ship refurbished equipment to you.
