Uploaded a document by mistake? In August Health, it is possible to delete or correct a document that has been misfiled in a resident's chart or uploaded to the wrong location. However, this action requires specific permissions and must be performed by authorized users within your organization. Documents uploaded by the community can be deleted by a user with Owner or Director permissions. See steps below.
Step 1:
Navigate to the "Documents" tab within the resident's chart. Click on the document you would like to delete.
Step 2:
Click the "Delete" button on the right side. You'll need to have the necessary permissions (Owner or Director) to see and use the delete option.
Note: Only certain types of documents can be deleted in August Health. If you do not see a delete option for a document, it may be because that document type cannot be deleted or because your user role does not have permission to delete documents.
Permission to delete documents is reserved for specific user types. If you believe you should have this ability, please reach out to your administrator.
